Fraser Simpson is the #1 Parkinson’s experts in Glasgow and Stirlingshire. Who has been been helping people in Glasgow with Parkinson’s without relying on medication.
My name is Fraser Simpson and I am the owner of Simpson Physio in Glasgow.
I started my own practice with the drive to provide the best type of service for people living with Parkinson’s disease and neurological conditions.
At our practice, we get to know our patients personally, we socialise with them, and we make sure that you get the best access to all the help that you need to be able to live with Parkinson’s as best as you can.
Over the years, I’ve seen people who don’t know what the best rehabilitation and treatment for Parkinson’s are and that’s why I specialise in treating this disease.
I want everyone with Parkinson’s to get the best treatments and understand what they need to be doing to improve their condition and live a better quality of life.
Apart from treating my patients, I love spending time with my family whenever I can.
I have 2 girls and 1 boy, so most of my time is centred around them.
We live in Glasgow, so I enjoy showing them around local places.
It’s a great city to live in with many opportunities, so we often go out and enjoy the outdoors and Scottish weather.
I also enjoy playing golf when I have some time off.
I am a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in working with adults with neurological disorders.
I’ve been practising for over a decade and have had some amazing success stories over the years.
After working for NHS, I decided to open my own practice because I’ve seen the gaps in our healthcare system that need filling.
At my practice, we focus on incorporating regular exercises into your treatment routine to further support you in your life with Parkinson’s.
We believe that medication combined with a tailored exercise program is the best treatment for people with Parkinson’s disease.
We understand that some people want to find out a bit more about the cost and availability before they book a Physiotherapy appointment. If you want to know what it costs – and what availability we have, then please just complete the short form below.
We help right from diagnosis all the way through to advanced disease.
We see a very broad range of people.
One of the great things is when we get patients with early-stage Parkinson’s because we can get you really active in those first stages and that slows down the progression of the disease significantly.
If it’s further down the line, we can still help you with our exercise program, but it may take a little bit longer to get you up to speed.
One of the biggest challenges with Parkinson’s is that you feel isolated because it can affect your confidence.
What we find is that, by working with us, patients start to get their confidence back and feel better emotionally.
We’re also very active in community support groups, so there is plenty of help for you, you don’t have to be alone with this.
If you’re struggling with Parkinson’s, then we can help you get through this physically as well as emotionally, so you can have a better quality of life.
If you’d like to speak with a PT before you arrange an appointment or if you have questions about our services why not arrange a call back with one of our Physiotherapists?
I specialise in helping people with Parkinson’s disease because I’ve seen how difficult it is to live with this condition.
People feel lonely, scared, or hopeless and they don’t know where to go for help.
NHS provides a one-size-fits-all solution that is limited in terms of helping Parkinson’s sufferers and is focused on medications.
Of course, you do need to take your medication, but it shouldn’t be the only treatment you’ll ever get.
With our treatment, we give you the tools so you can support yourself as best as you can and do everything to remain as independent as possible.
We are different because we care enough to give you the best service and our therapists are the best in the area.
We are also the only practice in Glasgow that is PD Warrior licencee.
We take the time and energy to find out about you and your life with Parkinson’s disease, we actively go about to make sure my team and I are bringing you the best and most up-to-date research-oriented therapy.
People keep coming back to us because of the support they get throughout their journey with us. We help not only them but also their families to understand the disease and help them cope with it as best as we can.
Our treatments are research-driven and we always make sure that we give you the optimal plan of care for your specific needs.
